Home Upgrade Costs collects information that you choose to submit through our calculators, quote request forms, contractor application forms, and related website interactions.

Information We Collect

We may collect project details, project type, ZIP code, city and state, timeline, budget readiness, property details, contact name, email address, phone number, communication preference, consent status, form submission metadata, source page, referral details, and related fraud-prevention signals.

How We Use Information

We use submitted information to provide planning estimates, review local project demand, evaluate contractor availability, respond to requests, send confirmation and system emails, improve our website, prevent abuse, and operate lead request workflows. Estimates are planning ranges only and are not final contractor quotes.

Service Providers

We use service providers to operate the website and forms, including Vercel for hosting, Supabase Postgres for database storage, Resend for confirmation and system email delivery, Google Analytics 4 for aggregate website and conversion analytics, and Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam and automated abuse. If Microsoft Clarity is enabled in the future, it may be used for interaction analytics with masking applied to sensitive areas.

Analytics and Session Recording

We use analytics to understand page performance, calculator usage, and form conversion. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, full ZIP codes, or exact IP addresses to Google Analytics. If session recording or interaction analytics are enabled in the future, form fields and other sensitive submission areas should be masked.

Spam Prevention

Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical information needed to verify that a form submission is not automated abuse. We use this verification to protect quote requests, estimate emails, contractor applications, and category interest forms.

When Information May Be Shared

When you submit a quote request, we may share relevant project and contact information with contractors, service providers, or business partners who may be able to review or respond to your request. We may also share information with vendors that help us host, secure, analyze, or operate the website.

Email, Phone, and SMS Consent

If you provide an email address, we may use it for confirmation or follow-up related to your submitted request. Phone calls or text messages are only used when you give the relevant consent or where otherwise permitted by law. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Opt-Out Choices

You can ask us to stop contacting you, delete submitted information, correct submitted information, or update your submitted information by emailing [email protected]. You may also reply to text or email communications using the opt-out instructions included in those messages when available.

Data Retention

We keep submitted information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, respond to requests, maintain records, improve quality, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal or business obligations.
